KARACHI: Recently, there has been a lot of discussion on social media trolls. It is sad to see that social media users troll anyone and use a lot of abusive language. It is everybody’s right to criticise but they should not forget basic decency.

Because of these trolls, social media influencers, bloggers and websites are also not taken seriously by many. There are many blogs and websites which are doing a tremendous job and giving good information to people. One such website gives useful information such as how to contact the Punjab chief minister, how to renew CNIC online or how to lodge complaint at railways helpline.

To avoid being a troll, schools, colleges and universities should advocate against it and inform their students on how to use internet and social media effectively.
