Divided opposition

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has made its government and fielded its chief Imran Khan as the prime minister of the country

LAHORE: While the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has made its government and fielded its chief Imran Khan as the prime minister of the country, it should realise that to be able to achieve the goals it has set it needs to have a united opposition. However, recent developments are proof that the opposition is quite divided.

Both the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl have nominated different candidates for the upcoming presidential election. This divide could be costly for the PTI-led government. For the betterment of the country, not only the PTI but the PPP and the JUI-F should also consider sorting out issues amongst them and work as a united force.
