Film industry back on track

Letter August 27, 2018
Hopefully, the new government will do the needful to ensure better film-making facilities to the film producers here

ISLAMABAD: With three big releases this Eid and all of the three minting enough for their producers, the local film industry is somewhat back on the track. With big names of the Pakistani drama industry now moving towards the film industry, it’s the same faces — albeit surprisingly with better content, stories, music and cinematography for the audience.

In the domain of available technology, much of the work is still being done outside Pakistan or with the help of expertise available outside Pakistan. With that, the Pakistani film industry is still to develop, grow and evolve. Hopefully, the new government will do the needful to ensure better film-making facilities to the film producers here.
