Administration director appointed at LGH

AMC Principal issues orders to the newly appointed director to ensure proper cleanliness and discipline

Ameeruddin Medical College Principal Mohammad Tayyab appointed Dr Rana Muhammad Shafiq as the administration/monitoring director of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Sunday.



“Institutions such as LGH have their own requirements; we shall continue our efforts to make it the best medical facility in the province,” Tayyab stated.

He issued orders to the newly appointed director to ensure proper cleanliness and discipline in the hospital, leaving no stone unturned in this regard.

No compromise will be tolerated regarding the attendance of doctors, nurses and para medical staff. The director should take rounds of each department twice and should take on the spot action against those who are absent, he added.

He also stressed that the attendance register of all staff working in three shifts at the hospital be maintained.



The principal also highlighted that immediate action needs to be taken against the encroachments outside the hospital so that patients are not inconvenienced.
