On Eidul Azha, which was celebrated on August 22, cinemas all across the country witnessed the clash of some of the biggest local films. Parwaaz Hai Junoon, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (JPNA2) and Load Wedding went head-to-head with the audiences gearing up to get their spot at the nearest theatres. Surprisingly, all the films opened up to big numbers proving that Eid releases fare well at the box office than any other time of the year. While the industry is still waiting to get the final box office numbers, film goers have already started sharing their favourite from the lot.

Hamza Ali Abbasi-starrer Parwaaz Hai Junoon woke up the spirit of patriotism in quite a lot.

Bunny Rabbit | 6 years ago | Reply Nice to hear local Pak cinema releases at festival times. usually its Indian movies ruling the roost at such times .Actors like Nadeem have a big history of over 5/ 6 decades of good cinema behind them. They should use this to revive the dying movie world .
