This was stated by Kandian Municipal Committee Opposition Leader Dr Saqib Jora while speaking to Express News in Sargodha. He said despite the completion of the building, the school is yet to offer an education to students.
“While the students have already faced losses due to the construction of the building, they have also been hit by the delay. The educational department does not seem interested in making it operational,” he maintained.
“No progress could be made despite repeated attempts.”
Saqib Jora said the apathy of authorities has forced skilled students to give up their education and stay at home. He added this also caused a surge in the illiteracy rate of the area.
“The parents of students cannot afford additional educational expenses on higher education and the children are forced to stay at home,” he said.
“I demand that the education secretary, Sargodha commissioner, deputy commissioner and others resolve the matter on a priority basis so that students of Kandian city can play a role in bringing a good name to the country,” the opposition leader appealed.
