Earlier yesterday, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally announced their engagement through heartfelt posts on Instagram. The couple held their roka in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. Sporting eastern wear, Priyanka stunned in a yellow ensemble while Nick complimented her in a kurta pajama. After the rituals, Priyanka held an engagement party to celebrate with some of the big guns of Bollywood.
The Bajirao Mastani actor’s cousin Parineeti Chopra was one of the first ones to get to the party.
Earlier, she took to Instagram to wish the couple of the hour. Reminiscing some of the childhood memories they shared, she wrote, “I can’t think of a more a perfect man for Priyanka. Nick, I know you’re perfect for her! Love her, because she loves you a lot and protect her, because she’s strong but a soft soul inside. I love you both and wish you all the happiness forever!”
Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan also arrived to the venue.
Raazi actor Alia Bhatt also joined in on the festivities.
Priyanka and Nick’s mothers also posed for a quick photo.
Ace film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali also made an appearance.
The couple of the hour celebrated the night with their friends.
The two even snapped an adorable photo with Nick’s parents.
Many celebrities couldn’t make it to the party, however, they sent their best wishes to the couple.
Nick’s brother Joe Jonas welcomed Priyanka to the family. He took to Instagram and wrote, “I couldn’t be happier for my brother. Welcome to the family Priyanka. We love you.”
Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner who is engaged to Joe also shared a picture of the couple. She said, “First, I’m blessed with an incredible future brother-in-law and now, such a beautiful, inside and out, future sister-in-law. I’m so excited to welcome you into the family Priyanka. I love you both.”
Anushka Sharma wished “immense joy and happiness” to the couple.
Preity Zinta also sent her regards. She wrote, “Wish you both loads of love, happiness and togetherness always.”
