Four die, eleven injured as van overturns

PESHAWAR: At least four passengers on Saturday died and 11 others were injured when a passenger van overturned at Hazara Motorway near Shah Muhammad. Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Headquarters Muhammad Sabir said that  the passenger van No. E-7538 which was heading to Rawalpindi from Manshera overturned soon after entering the Hazara motorway near Shah Muhammad either due to a tyre bursting or from overspeeding. He also confirmed that four passengers died on the spot and 11 others including three children and one women were critically injured. Sabir maintained that an investigation had started about the accident. Soon after the accident, Motorways Police and Rescue 1122 reached the spot and recovered the dead bodies of the ill-fated passengers and injured from the van and shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital Haripur for treatment and other medico legal formalities.
