
He was speaking to students after announcing the BSc Chemical Engineering (session 2006-10) results and distributing certificates among the position holders.
Affan Mahmood secured the first position. He said the university needed more funds for research if it was to increase the number of PhDs. Earlier, Kamran inaugurated an examination centre at the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET) and attended the annual dinner and farewell ceremony hosted by the PU Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology.
Faculty of Engineering and Technology acting dean Prof Dr Ehsan Malik, ICET director Prof Dr Syed Zahoorul Hassan Rizvi and Prof Dr Javaid Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
