With Khan in the PM seat, there is an air of optimism in Pakistan
KARACHI: Now that Imran Khan has taken the seat he so anxiously waited for — the seat of the prime minister of Pakistan — let’s applaud the man’s struggle that spans 22 long years. Whether Khan will be able to deliver on his promises and justify his claim of a ‘Naya Pakistan’ will only be seen over time. But one cannot rule out that with Khan in the PM seat, there is an air of optimism in Pakistan — something that had faded away a long time ago. And I cannot thank Khan enough for rekindling the fire of hope in our hearts again.
