Five target killers arrested in Karachi

Killers confess to murdering at least 15 people belonging to the MQM and other parties in Karachi.

KARACHI: The CID police arrested five terrorists on Sunday, who have confessed to the killing of at least 15 people belonging to the MQM and other parties in Karachi.

SP CID Umar Shahid told the media in Karachi that the wanted men who have been arrested include Muntazir Zaidi, Jawad, Waqas, Ahsan and Aqil.

He said the terrorists have also confessed to the murder of several prominent religious leaders including Maulana Mohammad Ahmed Madni and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem.

SP Umar Shahid said that investigations are underway and soon more revelations will be made in this regard.

He said that weapons and explosive material has been seized from the suspects.

Post May 2 raid, Pakistan had been under pressure from the US and international community to step up its offensive against the terrorist and extremist elements in the country, which has triggered a spate of arrests of TTP and Al-Qaeda members across the nation in the past few days, along with other miscreants.

While many conspiracy theories will get recommendations? I wish the editor writes an article on why we believe all sorts of conspiracy theories and never believe in reality.

Who will track down culprits, dissemenating terror and hatred in our Mother land. Beside the Extremists, we should bring all fascist groups before MQM and other political wings, such as Jamiat Tulba Islam, Phustun wings, PSA. The are not serve any ethinic segement of our society but demaging Pakistan. We are Pakistani and we should crash such groups who, do anything worng under any banner, etheir Religious, ethenic or political. I hope, Pakistan's political leadership will not compromise on such serious matter. Those creating divisions and propogating distruction in society. We should also ask these morally corrupt leadership, who always misguide and disinfrom people. Who will be responsible for lives of innocents people lives, taken for no reason but their personal interest. These arrest is not the solution but to expose, who are behind this hennous crimes and bring them to justice. Pakistan Zindabad

A war against pakistan imposed on the name of terror and nothing. Did any one ask india when more than 3000 innocent muslims killed in gujrat and millions in kashmir? why we are in the world of fool? a lollypop of terrorism given to us, still 911 incident not proved its reality, a lot of article written on this great drama. After 911 how many killed in US or in western world, while million of muslims killed in iraq, afghanistan and pakistan. did they were not human or human law are not for muslims.

And that would imply that Pakistan knew the location of these terrorist all along and didn't bother to apprehend them --- what's that say about Pakistan?
