They hoped that the newly elected government would ensure fulfilment of their commitments towards youth development
ISLAMABAD:
In appreciation of the government’s recognition of their talent, the recipients of the Youth Excellence Award have pledged to continue their contribution for the betterment of Pakistani society. They hoped that the newly elected government would ensure fulfilment of their commitments towards youth development and empowerment in Pakistan through allocation of four per cent of GDP for overall education and one per cent for higher education. These views were expressed by over 30 talented youths and representatives of youth organisations who were acknowledged for their valuable contribution in different spheres of life during a special ceremony organised in connection with 72nd Independence Day celebrations and International Youth Day 2018 on Tuesday.
