Football: CBM, AKU in All-Star final
CBM managed a narrow 1-0 victory over hosts IBA United in their All-Star championship clash. Striker Waleed scored the late goal for CBM in a win that puts them in second position on the points table.
They will now play the final against AKU on June 1.
Meanwhile, in an earlier match, AKU thrashed SZABIST 7-0 with Omair Saleem grabbing a brace and Waleed, Kashif, Hassan, Faisal and Jalal all adding their names to the scoresheet. SZABIST will now play IBA United in the third place play-off on Wednesday.
AKU, meanwhile, have secured top spot and will be favorites to lift the trophy in the final.
