PESHAWAR: First Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Kabaddi Super League-2018 got under way in Peshawar at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Saturday.

Former international kabaddi player and K-P Kabaddi Association Secretary General Arbab Naseer Ahmad Khan inaugurated the league matches in which a total of 12 teams, studded with national and international players, are taking part.

K-P Kabaddi Association is organising the league in collaboration with K-P Directorate of Sports. Former international kabaddi player Syed Sultan Shah and large number of spectators were also present on the start of league matches.

In the opening match Niaz XI Shabqadar defeated Charsadda team in a tough battle. In the second match second Peshawar defeated Mardan in a close contest by 44-42.
