Six injured in Balochistan 'suicide' attack
A meeting of the Apex Committee of Gilgit Baltistan, which met a day earlier, had decided to avenge the attacks on schools and bring those involved to justice. The burning of the schools in Diamer district was condemned in the strongest of words, an official statement said.
The Inspector General of Police G-B Sanaullah Abbasi said a heavy contingent of police was deployed in Kargah and a search operation was underway. He said he will be able to share more details soon after he visits the area. The IG was visiting the injured at the hospital.
At least four suspects were arrested in the ensuing search operation by security forces in the area.
The area of Kargah is connected to Tangir and other parts of Diamer where 12 schools were torched by militants a few days back.
