MIANWALI: Deputy Commissioner Zahid Iqbal Awan has banned collection of sacrificial animals' hides during Eidul Azha without permission and no-objection certificate (NOC) from the district administration.

The DC held a meeting in this regard along with DPO Syed Qarar Hussain and other officials on Thursday.

Political and religious parties and welfare organisations have been directed to obtain permission from the district administration for collection of hides during Eid.

Stern action will be taken against the violators, he added. Applications for an NOC can be submitted to DC office till August 13.
