Body of missing six-year-old girl found in K-P

SWABI/ MARDAN: Police on Wednesday recovered the tortured body of a six-year-old girl from the fields in Takht Bhai village. The girl had gone missing a few days ago.

According to the girl’s father, Haseena had gone missing from her home two days ago. We tried to look for her but could find no clue to her whereabouts.

Police, though, found her body from a field. The body was then shifted for an autopsy and forensic test to the Mardan medical complex.

District Police Officer Captain Wahid Mehmood said that they had formed a special team to probe the incident. He added that after finding the girl’s body, the family will be fully briefed on any progress into the case on a daily basis.



After Haseena’s funeral, her father Habibur Rehman demanded that the police and the judiciary catch the culprits and make an example out of them to avoid such heinous crimes in the district in the future.

Meanwhile, in another child rape case in district Swabi, the Parmoli police has arrested the man who is suspected of raping a four-year-old girl. The suspect was presented before a court on Wednesday where he confessed to committing his crime.
