Venomous snakes attack, bite six people in Rahim Yar Khan

All the victims are being provided treatment at the hospital

RAHIM YAR KHAN: At least six people fell unconscious after being bitten by venomous snakes in different areas of Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday.

Officials at the hospital told Express News that six people were admitted to the health facility in critical condition after being bitten by snakes.

They said 55-year-old Muhammad Nawaz, a resident of Basti Kahur, was working in the fields when a snake bit him. As a result, he fell unconscious and was brought to the hospital for treatment.

Similarly, 22-year-old Kulsoom Bibi, 35-year-old Parveen Bibi, 50-year-old Majeedan Bibi, Muhammad Yusuf, 60, and 30-year-old Muhammad Jameel were attacked by snakes while they were passing through the fields. All the victims were being provided treatment at the hospital.

The increasing incidents of snake bites have created panic among residents of Rahim Yar Khan.
