Crackdown: PFA seals two food businesses

65 eateries penalised

LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed another two food businesses while carrying out an operation against adulterators, unhygienic food points and food processing units in the provincial metropolis, on Tuesday.

PFA penalised 65 eateries imposing heavy fines on them for not following food safety laws.

Food safety team raided a factory, located at Kroll Ghatti, after a tip off. They discovered employees preparing adulterated sauces.
