Karo-kari: Two men die in clan battle

SUKKUR: Two men were killed in a fight between two groups of the Nandvani clan over a karo-kari dispute in Hazoor Bux Nandvani village on Friday. A group of men were working in an agricultural field when a group of armed men opened fire at them. Ghulam Yasin Nandvani and Mohammad Malook Nandvani died in the resulting exchange of fire. Ghouspur police took the bodies for autopsies but they have yet to register the case. According to the residents, the clashes began over an old karo-kari dispute and three people from both families have died so far.
