'Dangal' star added that he was too busy with his own work commitments

Earlier reports stated that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan promised Prime Minister in waiting Imran Khan that he will be visiting Pakistan if the latter won the 2018 General Elections. However, much to our disappointment, the Dangal star has refuted the claims in a recent interview with News 18. "No, I am not going to Pakistan and I haven't got an invitation for Imran Khan's swearing-in ceremony," said Aamir.

The 53-year-old actor is currently occupied with work commitments in India. He has a massive event lined up for the charity foundation that he is involved with. "I am busy as I have a very big event for Paani Foundation, which I am preparing for. It's a massive event with 10,000 villagers and is taking place on August 12," continued Aamir.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman is reportedly set to take oath as prime minister on August 11. In the days following the elections, Khan has received messages of approval from several foreign leaders and representatives including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry also informed that former Indian cricketers have been invited to participate in Imran's oath-taking ceremony.
