NUST, PCMA to cooperate in multiple domains

Appreciates PCMA for playing its role in developing its linkage with NUST and sharing various industry projects

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Wednesday reached an agreement with Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) for the promotion of multi-disciplinary research, enhancement of university-industry linkages, products and processes development, consultancy services, faculty and student placement.

The agreement was signed at NUST H-12 Campus through a Memorandum of Understanding, signed by NUST Pro-Rector Research Innovation Dr Nassar Ikram and PCMA Senior Vice Chairman Zafar Mahmood.

NUST licences two IPRs related to tannery industry

Highlighting the importance of university-industry collaboration, NUST Rector Lt Gen (Rted) Naweed Zaman emphasised the growing need of building strong linkages with tangible outcomes to society. He appreciated PCMA for playing its role in developing its linkage with NUST and sharing various industry projects and challenges for NUST researchers to undertake.
