"The party's going to make the final decision but till now it looks good," Khan said when contacted by The Express Tribune.
PTI supremo Imran Khan won the seat in the July 25 polls. He, however, has decided to keep his NA-95 Mianwali seat, leaving it and other three across the country vacant.
"I've been responsible for voter mobilisation for the recent PTI campaign and I was the chief polling agent here," the social worker said.
"We're confident of victory and the MQM doesn't stand a chance here," he added.

Alamgir Khan said that residents of Mianwali, Imran Khan's native town, were not happy about the PTI chief leaving the seat back in 2013 and therfore, he was likely to keep that seat.
Speaking about NA-243, the FixIt campaigner said that Imran won the National Assembly constituency by a huge margin.
The PTI emerged as the largest party in the country by winning a lion's share of seats in the National Assembly and sweeping the provincial Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) seats besides giving the former ruling PML-N party a run for their money in Punjab.

The party was the runner up in Punjab after the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, but seems on track to form the government after winning allegiance of independent MPAs-elect and joining hands with PML-Q.
The FixIt campaigner has often been in the media spotlight as over half-a-dozen workers of the social organisation were arrested by the police when Khan, along with other supporters, attempted to head towards Governor House to protest the poor state of education in the province.
