ISLAMABAD: On July 25, General Election 2018 took place across the country, with a surprising turnout of women in large numbers. Where men, women and elderly people cast their votes with great enthusiasm, their eyes carried an unending hope for the change that Imran Khan has pledged to bring in.

The PTI’s success marks a new era in the history of Pakistan. It is a colossal setback to the PPP and the PML-N. But it seems the PPP has still managed to retain its presence in Sindh. Populace of the interior Sindh has earned the PPP its survival yet again.

Above all, the topsy-turvy politics of Pakistan has taken a new turn as Kaptan is all set to become the prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Now there is a great responsibility on IK’s shoulder to guide the youth of the country. He should now deliver the Naya Pakistan that the nation now eagerly awaits.
