Busted: 48 bottles of liquor seized
City police on Thursday seized 48 bottles of liquor from a vehicle in Bhana Mari of the provincial capital and apprehended one suspect. Police on a tip-off set up a checkpost on Kohat Road and stopped a car bearing registration number STD 8485. During inspection, 48 bottles of liquor were recovered from secret cavities of the car. The police also arrested one suspect named Baseer Khan, resident of Nothia. They registered a case against him and started investigations.
