LARKANA: Imran Khan’s victory in the elections has been hailed by the majority of people. Under the label of ‘Naya Pakistan’, much more is expected from Khan compared to his predecessors. The nation is optimistically looking forward to change and improvement in handling of domestic and international affairs. Though khan is sitting at the top of the party hierarchy, all might not go as per the party head’s wishes. Sadiq and Ameen Khan is, but the same cannot be said of his party and the second-tier party leadership who are defectors and turncoats from the PML-N, the PML-Q and the PPP, the parties Khan has repeatedly refused to side with due to their corrupt policies and a pathetic performance record.
Before the party chief embarks on ruling the country, he must ensure the same virtues of honesty and service to the people from his party members as it is they who will be implementing the government’s policies.
