Sindh Games’ venues finalised

KARACHI: The Sindh Sports Ministry has finalised 11 venues for the 13th Sindh Games to be held in Karachi.

Provincial sports secretary, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, held two meetings on Monday and named 35 regional organising secretaries and 42 women volunteers for the event that will take place in the city from June 14 to 16.According to the Sindh Games organizing secretary, Raziq Hussain Rabbani, the games played at different venues in Karachi.

The Games, previously scheduled to be held from June 1, were postponed due to delay in release of grants by the Sindh Finance Department. The grants – over Rs10 million – will be used to make arrangements for over 1000 athletes participating in the event.
