ISLAMABAD: Many different check boxes will have to be ticked before the Election Commission of Pakistan can fully assure us that the July 25th will pass off smoothly and safely. For example, the Power Division will ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity on the day of the elections at least until the vote counting is completed, as stated in a press release issued on the 23rd of July by the ECP. The bureaucracy also has a key role in ensuring free and fair elections. Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has stated that the Supreme Court, while playing its due role, will try to ensure that free and fair elections are held this year much like the uncontroversial polls in 1970. Let the general elections of 2018 be the one to change and revive Pakistan.
