Pakistan’s biggest talent show Nestle Nesfruta Funkaar hits TV screens

Nestlé got us grooving with the launch of their show Nesfruta Funkaar on July 14, 2018. The highly anticipated TV show endeavours to showcase a variety of talents by giving opportunity to singers, dancers, instrumentalists, magicians and freestyle runners.



Yasir Hussain, a TV host popularly known for his quick wit and comical retorts, set out on a country wide journey to unearth Pakistan’s talent. After a total of five lakh auditions, 14 contestants were shortlisted to battle it out with each other.



Funkaariyoun say bharpur (full of talent) judges including Bushra Ansari, Vasay Chaudhry are joined by a new judge in every episode. In the first episode they welcomed Emu (Imran Momina) on the panel to embark on a quest for Pakistan’s Funkaar e Aala. He was replaced by Amina Ilyas in the following episode.



With only three episodes left in the season, the judges can either directly promote a candidate to the final round with the title Funkaar e Aala, reject him/her altogether or give him/her a chance to prove himself/herself in the next round. As the contestants vow us with their beautiful vocals, electric moves and talented mastery of instruments, we believe that the judges will have a tough time in selecting the Funkaar e Aala in the next three episodes.
