Fakhar Zaman becomes the first Pakistani ever to score a double century in an ODI
LAHORE: Many records were broken for the Pakistan national cricket team on July 20th. Fakhar Zaman becomes the first Pakistani ever to score a double century in an ODI. Zaman’s score of 210 is the highest by any Pakistani in an ODI. Together with Imam-ul-Haq, Zaman broke the world record for highest opening stand with 304 runs. This stand is also the highest partnership in Pakistan’s ODI history, and Pakistan’s total of 399-1 is their highest ODI score ever. There is promising talent when it comes to batsmen in Pakistan cricket, yet no batsman has ever been able to continue his flow of tremendous performance for long. And now we see a former navy sailor bringing the best of his game. We hope and pray that he will be able to carry his good form for years to come.
