NUST holds summer school

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) organised a two-week-long summer school pre-university programme for high school students aged 16 years and above. As many as 60 students from various parts of Pakistan, including Karachi, Gujranwala, Daharki, Burewala, Multan, Hassan Abdal, Wah Cantt, Peshawar, Sialkot, Vehari and Rawalpindi participated in the programme. The participants were introduced to basics of engineering, biosciences, management sciences, architecture and arts and design. The participants also socialised with current students at the university during activities arranged by NUST student clubs. During their stay, the students engaged in sports, including badminton, cricket, basketball, volleyball and futsal. Participants also enjoyed recreational activities like stand-up comedy, music and drama events arranged by NUST Dramatics Club, as well as an excursion trip to Khanpur Dam.
