TDAP holds meetings on export issues 

Meetings held to build linkages between the government and the private sector for timely resolution of issues

KARACHI: In order to provide institutional linkage between the government and the private sector for timely resolution of issues faced by different export sectors of the country, meetings of the Export Promotion Committee (EPC) with Pakistan Tanners Association, Pakistan Carpets Manufacturers and Exporters Association and Pakistan Chemical Association, have been held by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Lahore Director General on July 17. Various core issues, like product development issues, competitiveness issues, supply chain management issues and analysis of programmes initiated by the government for export enhancement from Pakistan, were discussed during the meetings. TDAP DG Mian Riaz Ahmad said that the emerging Pakistan initiative as envisaged by Secretary Commerce Younus Dagha is a way forward in focusing and projecting  products of the country abroad, which will subsequently help in enhancing the trade volume of the country.
