Matric Position holders to be announced today

LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) will announce the names of those who have secured positions in the annual matriculation examination on Friday (today), while detailed results will be announced on Saturday (tomorrow). The results will be announced at 6pm and 10am on Friday and Saturday respectively, during ceremonies held at the BISE office in Lahore. The board has also arranged for a separate ceremony, held at a local hotel on Saturday, which will honour position holders. The ceremony will be attended by students, their parents, teachers and academics. Detailed results of the matriculation examination will be uploaded on the Lahore Board’s official website, revealed the authority’s spokesperson. Students can also text their roll numbers to 80029 to check their result, he added. This year, a total of 234,000 candidates appeared for the annual examination. BISE Lahore established a total of 812 centres scattered throughout the district in order to conduct this examination.
