2019 Pakistan tour of England schedule announced

Tour will aid Men in Green’s preparation for the upcoming World Cup

KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team will lock horns with England before the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, after the schedule for the series was confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Men in Green will face England in a solitary T20I followed by a five-match ODI series in May 2019, ahead of the World Cup in England and Wales.

The tour can prove to be pivotal in Pakistan team’s preparation for the mega event as it will help the side in acclimatizing to the conditions and fine tune their skills against a quality ODI outfit in the shape of England.


Schedule

May 5 — Only T20I at Cardiff

May 8 — First ODI (D/N) at Kia Oval

May 11 — 2nd ODI at Ageas Bowl

May 14 — 3rd ODI (D/N) at Bristol

May 17 — 4th ODI (D/N) at Trent Bridge

May 19 — 5th ODI at Leeds.
