NAB arrests two QDA officials on corruption charges

Will present deputy director and senior clerk before the court to obtain physical remand

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has arrested Quetta Development Authority (QDA) Deputy Director Muhammad Karim and senior clerk Tariq Mehmood on the charges of alleged corruption in allocation of government plots.

According to a press release issued on Monday, Karim and Mahmood would be presented before the court for physical remand.


NAB authorises inquiry against former IGFC Balochistan

In this regard, NAB has recently arrested former QDA DG Noor Ahmad Parakani, who was also sentenced to physical remand by the court, in the case of illegal allotment of government plots in Chiltan Housing Scheme.
