The government officials and civil society members accompanied him.
Urging people of Quetta to revolt against environmental pollution, Kakar said, “We can’t provide a healthy and secure environment to our future generation unless the government and the people jointly fulfil their responsibility.”

He said the interim government was working keenly to provide all assistance to concerned departments in order to provide better healthcare and medicines to the poor patients in the province.

On vegetable cultivation with sewage water, he said, “Health experts on several occasions expressed their concern over vegetable cultivation through contaminated water which is spreading various types of diseases in the city.”

The health minister warned that the interim government would “deal strictly with the mafia endangering the lives of the people”. “We have plans to resume vegetable cultivation by using fresh water,” he added.
