Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that no one forced him to chose ‘jeep’ as his electoral symbol and it was his his own decision.
Addressing a press conference in Taxila on Tuesday, the seasoned politician asserted that he was not in contact with other candidates using jeep as their electoral symbol.
“The jeep symbols are not that of electable,” he said. “Two to three candidates in Punjab returned party tickets and chose the jeep instead,” he added.
Dwelling on the upcoming polls, the disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader further added that his focus was on the constituencies he was contesting from.
“If I wanted to make my own group, I would have created it a long time ago.”
