Electioneering: July 15 rally will prove city belongs to MMA: Sirajul Haq (Karachi city)

The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) will hold a 'historic' public gathering on July 15 at Hassan Square which will prove that the city belongs to MMA, claimed the party's vice-president and Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq Sunday night.

Haq expressed these views during his visit to Baldia Town No 7, Bab-e-Khyber Metroville and Lyari's Chakiwara.

On the occasion, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Quami Movement had failed to provide basic necessities to the people. In fact, these parties had multiplied the woes of the masses, he said.

"The MMA will impose Islamic laws in the country and make the country a real welfare and Islamic state," Haq shared.

He said that corruption had completely destroyed the resources of the country and the people will reject corrupt rulers on July 25.

The accountability of Nawaz Sharif is not enough, he said, adding that there should also be accountability of the people who looted Pakistan Steel Mills, Water and Power Development Authority and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited.

The JI chief claimed that the MMA leaders were free from corruption charges and people would elect them in the upcoming elections.

"The victory of MMA is certain in the general elections as the people are well aware of the corrupt leaders minting money and building their properties by damaging the national exchequer," Haq shared.

Haq said MMA would ensure the smooth supply of water and power after winning the elections. He added that the current leaders have deprived the people of the basic necessities, including water and power.

The MMA leaders, including Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Naseem Siddiqui and others were also present on the occasion.
