Ismail Industries takes part in tree plantation drive

KARACHI: Ismail Industries Limited held a tree plantation activity in collaboration with the IBA Go Green Society as part of its recent drive to plant one million trees across Pakistan. This initiative, called Plant-a-Tree Campaign, took place at Mudassir Park, KDA situated at Dhoraji. Around 100 employees of Ismail Industries along with students and club members of the IBA Go Green Society came together to plant 150 trees along the border of the well-known family park. The saplings that were planted included varieties of trees that are much needed in Karachi like Neem, Sharifa, Gulmohor, Molsiri as well as flower-based shrubberies such as Raat ki Rani. “This campaign is just the first step in the initiative to plant first 10,000 and then a million trees across Pakistan,” said Ismail Industries Group Head of HR Arif Hussain Nomani.
