Business excellence: Warid marks six years in Pakistan

KARACHI: Warid Telecom Pakistan marked its sixth year of business excellence in Pakistan. The mobile operator entered the market on May 23, 2005, said a press statement on Tuesday.

In all these years, the company has shown solid results with vast expansion in each area. The company has secured over 17.70 million subscribers while providing quality network coverage at over 6,300 destinations, 550 cities including Azad Kashmir and Northern areas of Pakistan.

It has one of the largest customer reach network with 116,000 retail outlets, 327 franchises and 19 business centers across Pakistan. Furthermore, Pakistan Telecommunications Authority reports Warid Telecom as the only operator with lowest consumer complaints amongst all the operators which clearly portrays the class of service it offers, the statement further said.
