Drive-By shooting: ‘ANP man’ killed

According to SHO Mazhar Iqbal, he was shot twice.

KARACHI: A worker of the Awami National Party was killed in a drive-by shooting near Ghausia Chowrangi, said the Landhi police on Tuesday.

He was identified as 37-year-old Asghar Khan, son of Noor Khan, and a resident of Landhi No 4, sector 36-G. Men on a motorcycle targeted him soon after he left home.

According to SHO Mazhar Iqbal, he was shot twice. He had four children. The ANP’s Qadir Khan said he was associated with the ANP district east as a joint secretary. SHO Iqbal said that the victim was a labourer and had no affiliation with any political party.
