QUETTA:
Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) President Jam Kamal has said that the neglecting behaviour of the previous federal government towards the province forced political leaders to unite on one platform.

“The previous PML-N government listened to only three political parties –National Party, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl - while the rest of the parties and leaders were completely ignored by the Centre,” said Kamal while addressing a public rally in his constituency NA-272 Lasbela-Gwadar on Friday.
Senior leaders of BAP, including former minister Prince Ahmed Ali, was also present.

On Kamal-Bhootani alliance in Lasbela, the BAP president said, “Political opponents always created differences among the Jams and the Bhootanis, but in the interest of the people of Lasbela and Hub, we are working on it and soon an alliance will be announced.”

“Lasbela district is the highest tax-paying city of Balochistan. The city’s funds had been transferred to the Centre, and due to its annoying behaviour today Lasbela is deprived of all basic facilities.”

Slamming NP over failing to deliver, the BAP president said, “Despite having majority we allowed NP to take over gifted Lasbela, but during the two-and-a-half years’ rule the party didn’t announce any development programme for the people of Lasbela.

“BAP will fulfil its pledge of bringing good governance, providing health facilities and spreading education across Balochistan.”
He said that “today’s rally” is a “rigid answer” to all those criticising BAP.

Addressing the public rally, BAP candidate for PB-49 seat Sardar Saleh Bhootani said, “CPEC is a promise with the people of Balochistan that better days have yet to come but the heart of CPEC-Gwadar- is still deprived of drinking water.

“Political magicians are attempting to lure people of Lasbela, but Jam and Bhootanis are united on one platform – BAP, which is annoying our opponents.”
