Happy birthday, Ranveer Singh! A look back at the actor's quirkiest outfits to date

Honestly, I'm 99% sure, no other actor will neither attempt, nor pull off half of Ranveer's eccentric clothes

KARACHI: Ranveer Singh has got it all: the good looks, the laid-back, cool guy attitude and of course, his energiser bunny persona and ability to have fun where ever he goes. Add to that his devotion to rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone and you've got the ideal Bollywood heartthrob.

Well, I'd say he's a heartthrob most of the time. Over the years, Ranveer has made quite a reputation for himself when it comes to red carpet fashion. Anyone who knows the actor knows of his extreme sense of style.

While most Bollywood actors opt for traditional slim-fitting dark suits for award shows and other events, the Padmaavat star has, of course,  always been a step ahead and pushed the envelope with his outfit choices. A flowy skirt? Check. A suit with Bappi Lehri printed all over it? Been there, done that.

Ranveer is as eclectic and unapologetic about what he wears as only he alone can be. And what's more, the superstar manages to pull off even the quirkiest looks easily.

He once said, "200 characters live inside my head. They just pop out." Can't say I disagree!

As Ranveer turns 32 today, let's take a look back at the oddest outfits he has ever donned to date:

1. His 90's-inspired suit at Jio Filmfare Awards 2018:

The Band Baaja Baraat star opted for an unusual print to the pay tribute films of the yesteryears. Ranveer left audience and critics gaping in a custom-made suit from Karrtik D with film posters all over it. He paired with a black waist coat, thereby adding a formal touch.

2. The multi-coloured three piece and matching shades:

This might be one of Ranveer's craziest looks ever. During a promotional event for his film Befikre, the actor chose brightly coloured printed PJs with a matching blazer, bright shoes and yellow sunglasses.

3. When he sported a skirt better than girls:

My jaw almost hit the floor the  moment I saw Ranveer in a skirt, YES, A SKIRT. This happened during the promotions of Bajirao Mastani. Now, I'm all for the unconventional looks, but this one made me question so many things! Ranveer did pull it off but who even thought of this?

4. Bollywood's very own Mario:

I wonder if Deepika has any say in her beau's dressing. Frankly, doesn't seem like she does.

5. Skirt 2.0:

6. Dhoti:

A lime green dhoti on a white plain tee. While the ensemble is completely outrageous, one definitely has to give credit to Ranveer's bravado. Only he can get away with this.
