'Coke Studio Explorer's' latest episode presents rural Sindh in all its raw glory

Published: July 5, 2018

Coke Studio is trying something new this year and we are absolutely loving it!

The mastermind behind the spin-off, known as Coke Studio Explorer, Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi, are calling a bonus to the upcoming season that aims to discover musical talent from across Pakistan.

The second episode of Coke Studio Explorer just came out and it showcases rural Sindh in all its glory.

The episode presents a brother-sister duo, Shamu and Vishnu who captured our hearts in the latest song, Faqeera.

Shamu’s poise, complimented by Vishnu’s soulful vocals will leave an everlasting impact on your heart as their traditional voices drift into strums of the Benjo and modern electronic beats.

Faqeera is a tribute to the wandering saints of this region – ever engrossed in the pursuit of truth, harmony and humanity.

You guys (Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi) doing great and try to speak Urdu. Speaking English is not a big thing. Be proud being a Pakistanis. Recommend
