‘Regional states should join CPEC’
Urges all countries in the region and beyond to join CPEC in order to further expand their ties with Pakistan

President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan has become attractive for investments in multiple sectors after the launch of the CPEC, according to an official statement. Addressing a gathering of business community on Tuesday evening, the president said Gwadar Port was emerging as a gateway for countries in the region, providing ample opportunities to increase connectivity and raise the standard of living of people. “Pakistan is forging ahead on the path of development and prosperity as all economic indicators are showing impressive improvement due to effective policies of the government,” said the president. Hussain urged all countries in the region and beyond to join CPEC in order to further expand their economic and trade ties with Pakistan and other countries.
