7,224 students receive diplomas

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education Peshawar announced the results for its annual diploma programs

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education Peshawar on Tuesday announced the results for its annual Diploma in Commerce and Diploma in Business Administration exams. Of the 9,513 students who appeared in the examinations, 7,224 students were declared as successful or around 75.9 per cent of the total. In DCOM Syed Ilyas Ali Shah clinched the first position after securing 1,025 marks out of a total of 1,200 marks. He was followed by Muhammad Faiq with 1,023 marks on second and Yasir Nawaz was third with 999 marks. In DBA, Hamza Ali was declared as first with 1,118 marks out of a possible 1,400 marks. He was followed in second by Izhar Saleem who got 1,100 marks while Raza Hassan was third with 1,091 marks. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa  Caretaker Minister for Industries and Technical Education Engineer Muhammad Sanaullah Khan distributed prizes amongst the position holders.
