Bilateral relations: ‘Ties with Pakistan important to China’
Pakistani flags were flying highin Tiananmen Square during PM Gilani's visit to China.

During Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani’s recent visit to China, Pakistani flags were flying high in Tiananmen Square, showing the sentiments of the Chinese people and the government towards Pakistan, and the importance they attach to their relations with the country, said Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khan.
Tiananmen Square is the world’s largest city square with a total area of 440,000 square metres. Ambassador Khan made these remarks while addressing the participants of the 94th National Management Course belonging to various service groups, who called on him at the Pakistan Embassy on Monday.
