‘Finish projects before starting new ones’

K-P CM Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that the new ADP of the provincve will be congruent to the needs of the people.



Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that the new Annual Developmental Programme (ADP) of the provincve will be congruent to the needs of the people. Investment in production sector and completion of ongoing projects is our priority, he said, according to a press release issued by the press information Department of K-P here on Monday. He was chairing a meeting regarding preparation of the proposed ADP for the financial year 2011-12 at K-P House in Islamabad on Monday.



Developments schemes relating to education, energy and power, Auqaf and tourism were reviewed in detail and the allocation of funds and time frame of projects were also discussed.

Hoti said that improvement in current facilities, increasing capacity and timely completion of ongoing schemes is a better developmental strategy than initiating new projects, while adding that no political government can overlook new projects but the present government prefers the collective interest of the people and the province.

He said more and more investment in hydel power, minerals, and oil and gas is the need of the hour and such investment will bring welcome changes to the social and economic status of the people as well as increased province revenue and economic benefits.
