Qadir Baloch urges youth to say no to drugs
Former SAFRON minister says youth should indulge in sports as drug addiction has paralysed them mentally, physically

Former Safron minister Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has urged people, especially the youth, to say no to drugs because the “menace of drugs is destroying our society at a rapid pace”.
“Drug addiction has paralysed our youth mentally and physically; therefore, we should bring our youth towards sports and healthy activities,” said the NA-268 candidate while addressing a seminar on International Anti-Drugs Day conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in Chaghi on Tuesday.

ANF Assistant Director Muqeem Baloch, PML-N District President Captain Kareem, tribal leader Haji Akber Mausazai and others participated in the seminar.
The former minister and Muqeem said, “The menace of drugs can’t be purged from our society unless we provide jobs, education and healthy activities to the youth.”
Separately, Baloch inaugurated a Taekwondo Tournament conducted by the ANF in Chaghi to provide sports activity to the people.

Visiting his constituency, PML-N Balochistan President Baloch offered his condolence over the demise of Maulana Muhammad Yousaf.
Talking to the media, he said, “We have been contesting elections to change the plight of the people of Balochistan. I have a strong vote bank in Chaghi and with their support, I have been contesting elections.”
He said, “Our prime job is to provide all basic facilities to the people of Chaghi.”
To a question regarding PML-N’s political alliance in Balochistan, he said, “Our doors are open for political alliance in order to form a coalition government.”
