Speaking from the green carpet of the 19th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards held in Bangkok on Sunday, Anil stated, "Every film has its own destiny and when it's going to happen, it will happen."
Earlier, there were talks that Anil and Sridevi would reunite for the Mr India follow up, directed by Shekhar Kapur. However, the English Vinglish actor, who also happened to be Anil's sister-in-law, passed away in earlier this year. Anil added that Sridevi and Amrish Puri, who played the iconic villain Mogambo in Mr India, will surely be missed.
Still short on words over Sridevi's unfortunate demise, Anil said, "We will miss her and Puri jee but life goes on. We miss all of them. Yet, we will try our best to follow their legacy so we can make them proud. In order to do that, we need to make a good film that they would have appreciated."
